What is HMIS?
The Homeless Management Information System (HIMS) is our community’s local system designed to collect client-level data on the provision of homeless services. The United Way of South Central Michigan acts as the local HMIS Lead Agency for the Kalamazoo County Continuum of Care, supporting the data collection efforts of homeless service providers within the Continuum of Care and working to meet system-wide reporting requirements.
All HUD and MSHDA CoC-funded projects are required to use the HMIS, except dedicated victim service providers. The HMIS is also used by non CoC-funded homeless service programs throughout the County. If your agency is interested in using HMIS, please contact us at coc@uwscmi.org.

- Level of urgency or date by which a resolution is needed, if applicable
