HUD COC Grant
- The CoC invites applications under HUD’s Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition for renewal, new, and bonus projects. The opening of this local competition for projects serving Kalamazoo County is in accordance with the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the given year Continuum of Care Program by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
- The CoC concurrently considers both renewal project applications as well as new and bonus projects (including permanent housing bonus projects and domestic violence bonus projects). The CoC submits one collaborative “Continuum of Care Application” that reflects community-wide planning and performance. The score received for that application is applied to funding requested for that years funds
- 24 CFR 578.37 states that CoC funds may be used for projects under four program components: permanent housing (including rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing); transitional housing; Supportive Services Only; HMIS
