Supporting Transition from Homelessness

People with disabilities often face unique challenges when transitioning out of homelessness. In this session, you will learn how Disability Network Southwest Michigan, a Center For Independent Living, uses it’s core services and the Independent Living Philosophy to support unhoused individuals in their transition. 

Presenters:

Sarah Stoll: Sarah is currently a Community Resource Specialist at Disability Network Southwest MI. She identifies as a person with a mental health disability and has a heart for working with disabled and otherwise marginalized populations, especially the unhoused. 


Lisa Fuller: Lisa is currently Program Manager at Disability Network Southwest Michigan.  She has over 23 years of connecting older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers to resources and services in Southwest Michigan. She supports everyone’s individualism and their right to choose what works best for them in their situation.
